Join TOVA for the 6th Annual
James Faucett III Sickle Cell Awareness 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk on
September 30, 2017 at Brandywine Park by the Zoo. Registration Opens at 9:00am and the race
starts at 10:00am. Sickle Cell Awareness is a rare blood disorder that under
certain conditions, the misshapen blood cells can occlude circulation which
causes excruciating pain. Thanks to
newer treatments, research and access to high quality care, persons with sickle
cell disease live a long life. TOVA’s
mission is to provide compassionate holistic coordinated care to persons with
complex chronic medical conditions like Sickle Cell Disease. Our innovative community-based healthcare
delivery model provides comprehensive coordinated care to meet client’s needs
in a one-stop-shop. Founder, Dr. Nina
Anderson was honored by the U.S. Small
Business Administration Delaware District as the 2017 Women-Owned Small Business
