Celebrating Black History Month in New Castle County and my Music Teachers
We are almost half way through the month of February, Black History month. There are many FREE events honoring the those in our local community who have made immeasurable contributions to our collective culture and history. Don't forget there are many people right here in Delaware, who through their collective efforts, have made our communities more healthy, viable and sustainable. Just a few local African-Americans of influence who came to mind were two of my music teachers- (Ms. Sheilla Cassidy and Mrs. Jacqueline Faulcon). Thanks so much for cultivating my love for and the arts and the violin which has enriched my life tremendously. There is a Healing Power of Music!
All the best, Dr. Anderson
